Biennial report for District of Columbia corporations: due date, fee, and late penalty

Biennial report

Due
Due April 1 of the year after formation, then by April 1 every second year after that.
First one
Due the year after formation, with no grace for a late-in-year formation - a corporation formed December 15 owes its report by the following April 1.
Fee
$300 flat, online or on paper ($80 for nonprofit corporations).
Frequency
Biennial

If it is late

DC adds a $100 late fee the day the report is late. Administrative dissolution cannot begin until it is more than 5 months late, and you then have 60 days from DLCP's notice to cure.
