Due the first day of the fourth month after the fiscal year closes - April 1 on a calendar year.

The first report is due the year after formation, on the same schedule.

$20, plus a small online processing fee - corporations do not use the LLC per-member schedule.

If it is late

No late fee, but the state can begin dissolving corporations two months past due, with a further two-month cure window after notice.

Franchise tax

Due
Due the 15th day of the fourth month after the fiscal year closes - April 15 on a calendar year.

First owed the year after formation, on the same schedule.
Fee
0.25 percent of Tennessee net worth, with a $100 minimum owed regardless of activity.

Tennessee adds escalating penalties and interest until the tax is paid.
