Annual report for North Dakota corporations: due date, fee, and late penalty

Annual report

Due
Due August 1 each year - a fixed statewide date that does not depend on when the corporation was formed.
First one
The first report is due the year after incorporation; nothing is owed in the formation year.
Fee
$25, the same online or on paper; nonprofit corporations pay $10 and file by February 1 instead.
Frequency
Annual

If it is late

A late fee of $20 applies for the first 90 days past due and $60 after that. The corporation falls out of good standing three months past due and is involuntarily dissolved by operation of law once the report is a year past due.
