Annual report for Connecticut LLCs: due date, fee, and late penalty

Annual report

Due
Due in a fixed window every year, January 1 through March 31, regardless of formation date. March 31 is the deadline. Online only.
First one
First due January 1 - March 31 of the year after formation, with no grace for a late-in-year formation - an LLC formed in December gets about three months.
Fee
$80 flat.
Frequency
Annual

If it is late

No late fee and no interest. Connecticut will not issue a Certificate of Legal Existence while the report is outstanding, and can dissolve the LLC by forfeiture once it has been in default more than a year, after notice and a three-month cure window.
