Every figure comes from DataSF's 311 Cases dataset, the city's own record since 2008, refreshed daily. San Francisco logs street and sidewalk cleaning requests as 311 cases, so the citywide count runs high; the figures for one address are what describe a building.
02Do complaints show who filed them?
No. The public dataset carries no names or contact details, so a report shows what was filed at an address, never who filed it.
03Why does my address return nothing?
The dataset stores the street address with postal abbreviations, like 429 Kirkham St. Search without an apartment or unit number. A building with no result has had no case in the last 12 months.
