Every figure comes from Open Data DC's 311 City Service Requests layers, the District's record, refreshed through the day. The District keeps each calendar year in its own layer, so a search covering the last 12 months reads two.
02Do complaints show who filed them?
No. The public dataset carries no names or contact details. A report shows the complaints at an address and nothing about the people who filed them.
03Why does my address return nothing?
The dataset stores the street address with the street type written out and the quadrant last, like 95 M Street SW. Search without an apartment or unit number; the search expands St or Ave for you. If nothing comes back, the city logged no request there in the last 12 months.
