Questions
01Where does this data come from?
Every figure comes from the City of Columbus service-request map service, the record behind the city's 311 map, refreshed through the day. It holds the last three years of requests.
02Do complaints show who filed them?
No. The public dataset carries no names or contact details. A report shows the complaints at an address and nothing about the people who filed them.
03Why does my address return nothing?
The dataset stores the street address alone with postal abbreviations, like 1410 Cleveland Ave. Search without an apartment or unit number. If nothing comes back, the city logged no request there in the last 12 months.
