Questions
01Where does this data come from?
Every figure comes from Metro Nashville's hubNashville service request layer, the city's record, refreshed through the day. The layer names no responsible department, so a report shows no agency for a request. Metro resolves many requests on the first call and logs those as a request type of their own.
02Do complaints show who filed them?
No. The public dataset carries no names or contact details. A report shows the complaints at an address and nothing about the people who filed them.
03Why does my address return nothing?
The dataset stores the street address with postal abbreviations, followed by the city, state and zip, like 1200 Donelson Ave, Nashville, TN 37138. Some requests name an intersection instead of an address, and no address search finds those. Search for the street line alone, without an apartment or unit number. If nothing comes back, the city logged no request there in the last 12 months.
